EDPE 3065: Pedagogical Innovations
Analysis and discussion of the latest pedagogical approaches and techniques and new trends prevailing in the different subjects or disciplines taught at the elementary level. Special attention will be given to the introduction or establishment of innovative programs such as: gradeless school, team teaching, individualized instruction, the use of instructional modules or programmed instruction, staggered scheduling, and the use of educational technology resources to enrich and enhance learning.
Classwork:
Artificial Intelligence
In this activity, I created various images using different artificial intelligence platforms. The purpose of this assignment was to ask these platforms to create an image of a modern, technological classroom.
My Ideal Classroom
In this project, my colleagues and I identified a virtual necessity seen constantly in elementary-level classrooms. This project aimed to create an online course that contained all the necessary equipment to provide a good education virtually.
Reflection:
Taking this course has been a transformative experience. I gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience with digital tools and platforms that can prepare students´ learning and engagement. I learned how to use technology not just as a supplement, but as a meaningful part of lesson planning and instruction. I now feel more confident designing lessons that incorporate technology in purposeful ways
Overall, this course has prepared me to be a more modern and flexible educator, ready to meet the needs of today’s digital learners.
