EDPE 3018: Teaching English as a Second Language
Theoretical and practical course regarding the teaching and learning processes. Studies aspects related to the teaching of English in the elementary school: planning, education, and curriculum; basic content in this area of specialization; preparation, adaptation, and utilization of resources; methodologies, teaching techniques and strategies; and fundamentals of evaluation and measurement.

In this document, I describe my Suggestopedia Teaching Method Project. I created this project with my colleague Luis Torres Delgado. Here we were able to explore the methodology and activities that can be created according to the teaching method.
Third grade lesson plan
This PDF contains a third-grade lesson plan I prepared next to my classmate, Andrea V. Soto Gonzalez. Here we were allowed to write instructional objectives and sequence of activities that can be used in an English classroom.
Reflection:
This course provided valuable insights into effective English teaching at the elementary level. I learned how to plan lessons, adapt resources, and implement diverse teaching strategies to provide excellent student learning. Also, it helped me understand evaluation which helped me improve my teaching practices.
